Why study in New Zealand?
New Zealand is formed by two different Islands; North Island and South Island.!! It is famous for the great outdoors and epic landscapes but according to New Zealand’s Ministry of Education the three main cities of interest to international students are: Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
New Zealand’s education system is based on the British system, which makes it recognized in a number of countries so students can either progress to further education in New Zealand or other English speaking nations, or move to further study or get the employment back in their home countries easily.
If you are attracted to studying in New Zealand for the extreme sporting activities and beautiful scenery then one should choose an institute in the rural areas. You will find that although the pace of life may be slower, most of the nature delights such as forests, waterfalls and mountains are located in these regions so there will be plenty of activities to keep you busy. Most of the country’s major cities are located on the coastline so if you had your heart set on an institution which is located miles away from your desired location you may be able to compromise as New Zealand is a small country with reliable and efficient travel networks. New Zealanders, or ‘kiwis’ as they are often known, are friendly, relaxed and open people and this is particularly apparent in the mainland. This country is multicultural with many well-developed student support networks to help students from all over the world settle in.
New Zealand Education System
The educational system in New Zealand is extremely varied and is one of the best in the world. According to scores, it has the highest levels of literacy, mathematics, and sciences in the country. The public educational system is one of the best funded in the world; New Zealand offers the highest percentage of public funding in education in the world. Several indices rate New Zealand as the number one country in the world for education.
So what makes New Zealand so unique? What makes it different than all of the other developed countries that provide education to their children? It is based on several things; first, because New Zealand natives believe in giving everyone the education that they deserve.
The other reason is because the educational system focuses on both practical and academic achievement. Instead of sticking to a regimen that no one really understands and doesn’t really tell us anything, the New Zealand public education system focuses on being open-minded and letting children explore, thus allowing them to learn in the best way that they can. This gets them ready for work and projects upon finishing their education.
