December 2017 was very significant for the students at Tops Technologies as the company conducted its popular semi-yearly event, Job Fest, on 16th December. Tops organizes the biggest gathering of potential employers across Gujarat in the areas of Information Technology. With as many as 40 IT firms at the doorstep, well over 500 candidates interviewed for jobs with various IT sectors at the CG Road branch on this occasion. The fest was a remarkable success as more than 300 candidates were short-listed for the next rounds of the placement. Job Fests at Tops Technologies are nothing short of a festival since it is singularly the most awaited event during the year. It is organized twice a year, once towards the start and second time towards end of the year. Apart from receiving a rigorous technical training throughout their course curriculum, candidates begin preparing for the fest well over a month in advance. This preparation includes Mock Interviews, Aptitude Preparation, Soft-skills Training, and a revision of their core technical understanding. The faculty staff at Tops is very motivated and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to coaching students holistically in their chosen areas of Information Technology. The placement team, on the other hand, makes sure that candidates of each sector get enough opportunities with multiple companies to showcase their talent and secure a job worthy of their caliber.
